Anderson Clark Elliston, affectionately known as Andy, was a radiant soul whose life, though brief, left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Born with a complex congenital heart defect—Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia (TOF/PA)—Andy showed incredible resilience from his very first days. He underwent his first heart procedure at just two days old and bravely faced open-heart surgery at six months, embodying strength and determination well beyond his years.
Andy was later diagnosed with Autism, a part of him that never defined him but instead added to the beautiful uniqueness of who he was. He met the world with curiosity and joy, unafraid to be himself. He had a signature giggle that filled rooms—especially when he was "hiding" in plain sight with great pride in his stealth. He deeply adored his big brother, looking up to him with endless love and admiration.
One of Andy’s greatest joys was the alphabet. From a very young age, he displayed an extraordinary love for letters and language, beginning to read at just three years old. His passion was infectious and a source of wonder to those around him.
Andy passed away suddenly on September 11, 2022, leaving behind a legacy of light, laughter, and love. Though his time with us was short, the joy he brought transcended his years. Andy will always be remembered for his courage, his brilliance, and the pure, joyful spirit that continues to inspire all who knew him.
