The Andy’s ABCs Care-cation is a refreshing, joy-filled getaway created just for caregivers of individuals with extra needs. It’s an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life and reconnect with yourself through rest, relaxation, meaningful experiences, and plenty of laughter.

Our 2026 Care-cation brought together eight incredible special needs caregivers from a variety of backgrounds for an all-inclusive week at a beautiful beach house in Panama City Beach, Florida. Throughout the week, caregivers were reminded that they are seen, valued, and deserving of care themselves.

The week was filled with unforgettable moments, including a Golden Girls-themed welcome party, a scenic tiki cruise to Shell Island, and an afternoon spent making memories at a retro arcade in downtown Panama City. The experience concluded with a day dedicated to wellness, featuring a restorative sound bath, a breathwork class, and relaxing massages for every caregiver and volunteer. The week ended with a special farewell dinner at Saltwater Grill, celebrating not only an incredible experience but the friendships formed along the way.

While every activity was memorable, the true heart of Care-cation was the community that developed throughout the week. The bonds, encouragement, and lasting connections made between caregivers who truly understand one another are simply priceless.

This exclusive, application-based experience is open only to caregivers who have previously attended an Andy’s ABCs Caregiver Connections event.

With the 2026 Care-cation officially in the books, we're already dreaming, planning, and preparing for an even more exciting and unforgettable Care-cation in 2027.
